Vegan Silk Scarf

Deceptive. NOT a silk scarf

"This scarf is marketed as a vegan silk scarf. However, as soon as you feel it, you know it's definitely not silk, and I question whether it's even satin. The package says "silky-feel satin material. " And it will make you hair as frizzy as wrapping it in polyester. I would like a refund."

Not good for keeping down frizz overnight

"I have an older curl smith scarf that I've enjoyed so I thought I'd buy another one. I use it to tie up my fine, wavy, damaged hair overnight. I've had great success with the old scarf. The new one is not the same. The many nights I tried it, I woke up with lots of frizz and my damaged hair areas were rough, frizzy and course. Definitely not a good scarf for overnight sleep protection."

Nice, but the satin is very staticky

"The scarf itself is beautiful, it fits my head great, and it’s comfortable. However, calling it vegan silk is a little bit of a stretch. It’s satin, and it causes my very fine hair to get incredibly staticky."

Disappointed in the fabric

"I wasn't sure what "vegan silk" meant but took a chance, and while it's pretty enough, the fabric is not something I can wear. Synthetics give me a rash and if I'd known this was 100% polyester, I wouldn't have purchased it. I did look to see if "vegan silk" was defined anywhere! It's very pretty, and I did know it wasn't real silk, but . . . wish I'd known it was polyester."

Great satin polyester scarf

"It’s a nice scarf especially for the price, and the print looks exactly like the picture and the colors are equally vibrant. It’s a pretty good size, but I would like to order one even larger to fully enclose my long hair. Only knocking off one star because I don’t like things marketed as “vegan silk” or “vegan leather” - let’s all just be honest and call it polyester and PVC, because it’s simply not silk or leather, and we can say it’s for the vegans, but it’s really about keeping costs down for everyone more than anything. A true silk scarf would be more ideal on every measure but cost, and it’s ok to be honest about that, and a polyester scarf is a nice budget alternative."
