"It gave my dark brown hair a nice, deep red color and held my waves well alone, even better when used with a little bit of my styler. I did have some fall out the first time I used it, but I think with practice this will not be a problem. It did not get color my pillow overnight and it looked good for 2-3 days. It was a bit drying as some of the other reviews mentioned, but when I added some leave in, it wasn’t bad. I will use this again for a fun pop of color, and will try the other colors in the future!"

"I have used this twice now and am super impressed at how the colour comes through (better in reality than in my pics!). There is a slight shimmer/sparkle to the red. I like wearing it on the ends of my hair, the first pic is straight after applying, the second is a couple days later. I found it easier to apply with my fingertips instead of the palms of my hands. On the second time I used it, I used a leave in conditioner before applying the colour, which I definitely recommend if you have dry ends like I do; the colour was slightly drying for them. I did experience some red transfer onto the collar of a light top a couple days later and also onto a sofa I sat on! When styling my hair/tying it back for bed, it also got on my hands. Overall I'm pleased and do recommend this, so long as you're prepared for the things I mentioned :)"
"These hair makeup gels are the best hair product I’ve used for a very long time. I have dark auburn curly hair and in my 40s so have a sprinkling of white hair. These gels applied to damp hair not only give my curls great definition, volume and a luminous colour glow but they also cover any grey hairs. I have nearly all the colours and mix them on my hands when I apply to get a selection of colour highlights. They mix really well, particularly the ruby and gold. My only hope is that they are never discontinued!!"

"Amazing result. This works really well as both a curl gel and a red coloring. Washed off my hands and bathroom surfaces with just water. Didn’t stain my hair at all. Hair got a little more tangled than usual, because the product makes your hair stick to itself a bit, but I was able to restyle with water and a comb and wear the red for multiple days (your pillow case will get some color on it)"
"I used this on my pre-coloured but faded red hair and also dark roots and it brightened it up a treat! Beware, it is messy to apply and you should be careful to cover clothes and let your hair dry before changing. Great product nonetheless"
